FDA Safety Approved vs. FDA Permanency Approval
Our lasers were approved for safety in 1997. Following a two-year biopsy study done by Harvard Medical, we received the first certificate ever issued by the FDA for permanency. Although all lasers have safety approval, many are not certified for permanency.
